The only time My nemo freezes up is when I've done a bad overclocking of ram, or back when my old hale 90 NZXT white psu from 10+ years ago finally failed late last year.OR if whatever I was doing literally consumed all the ram I had.AND swap space. Thus.That doesn't mean this freezing up problem is an inherent problem with Mint. We have no idea of your other Linux boxes have the same Mint version, or same file manager versions.etc = you've given us concrete no details about your system or systems other than you use Mint and with the Nemo and Thunar file managers. ![]() This is extremely frustrating and must be an inherent problem with Mint because, as I said, it happens on all of my Linux boxes I use Thunar as a backup for when this happens, but more often than not, once Nemo stops responding, Thunar does too.
